Animal Shelter
The Unicoi County Animal Shelter opened on February 27, 2008, providing a place to care for pets while searching for their forever home, and animal control for Unicoi County.

Directions: We are off Exit 37, Industrial Drive is the street across from the McDonalds, we are at the end of the road.

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 12:30pm-4:00pm
Closed - Wednesday & Sunday
Thursday 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Current Adoption Fees
Dog adoption fees: $75 for females $65 for males.
Cat adoption fees: $60 for females $50 for males.
These fees include the spay or neuter charges!

We rely on the help of the community for both Financial Support (Donations) and Volunteer's to keep our Shelter running.
Volunteer
If you find you have a love for Animals and have some time please come down and be a Volunteer.
Just a few of the jobs you can help with are: walking dogs, socilization of cats, laundry,feeding,taking pictures of animals, and helping during adoption hours. Below you will find our Volunteer Application & Background Check form, simply print these out and bring them to the Shelter, or come buy and speak with us!
